Fortune Magazine Ranked NVIDIA the #1 Fastest
Growing Company in America
Fortune
Magazine has released the results of the 100 FASTEST-GROWING
COMPANIES in America. These days surging sales and profits are
more likely to inspire skepticism than adulation; investors
are rightly wrestling with how much growth is real and how much
is due to dodgy accounting. This year, FORTUNE's Fastest Growers
didn't set any records. Median revenue growth, earnings per
share and total return all declined. And staying on the list
wasn't easy, either: Just 31 companies on the list also made
the cut in 2001. [more]

VIA P4PB400 P4X400 Mainboard Gets Excellent
Review from Virtual Zone!
VIA
this time has released their new P4X400 chipset that officially
supports AGP8X, USB2.0 and comes with the new 8X V-Link Hub
architecture. Unlike SiS, VIA doesn't have a plain sailing for
making chipsets for Pentium 4 as the licensing issue still pops
up in the motherboard manufacturers' minds especially the first
tier manufacturers like ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte. Therefore VIA
set up its own VPSD which is responsible for making Pentium
4 boards and sell them through the OEM and distribution channels.
VIA P4PB400 is the new board from VPSD that is based on P4X400
chipset and we shall check out in details the board features,
BIOS settings, overclockability as well as performance. [more] |

AOpen AX45 Got Recommendation from Techweb,
Overclocker Café
AOpen
has put out another extremely stable product which is their
trademark. We were pleased with the ease of installation and
the board's layout. The DIMM / AGP issue being the only exception.
The lack of a physical manual did bother me as I do see this
as a problem. The board is without question geared to the standard
non-overclocked system builder. This is the type of user who
is a bit more likely to have problems and turn to a manual.

Hardware Review for Samsung Spinpoint SP8004H
80GB HDDs!
 Samsung's
new SpinPoint P40 series of hard drives combine 40GB platters
with 7,200rpm spindle speeds. I'm pretty impressed with the
two examples the company sent me. As I mentioned in my review
of the 40GB SpinPoint SP4002H, both SpinPoints approach the
Seagate Barracuda ATA IV in performance and shock tolerance
ratings. [more]

MSI Ranked #1 in AMD Based Motherboards
by Motherboards.org.
Motherboards.org
released their results on a comparison of AMD Based Motherboards
early this March. MSI's
K7T266
PRO2 and the KT3
Ultra grabbed the two highest rankings. The comparison was
based on 5 categories: Features, Ergonomics, Stability, Package
& Support, and Performance. Along with two MSI
motherboards leading the way in all five categories of this
comparison, MSI's K7T266
PRO2 also grabbed the Editor's Choice Award. In addition
to exceptional performance, these motherboards are packed with
features, including 8 USB ports, 5 PCI slots, Wake On LAN, Keyboard
Power-On, and two more IDE channels. Being a long time manufacturer
of motherboards, MSI
continues to produce products of the highest quality as this
comparison shows. The numbers speak for themselves and as the

the comparison from Motherboards.org
shows that MSI is setting
