• The end user is buying a computer that qualifies for this upgrade program (see the system builder license supplement for the requirements), and
• The Microsoft Windows XP software package from an authorized OEM Distributor did not include a serialized upgrade redemption form for the Microsoft Windows Vista upgrade.

ONLY valid system builder channel Certificates of Authenticity (COAs) which are activated on or after October 26, 2006, are eligible for upgrade redemption.

There are important requirements for the downloaded redemption form. You must follow these instructions in order for your end user customers to be eligible to receive the upgrade:

1. Supplement to System Builder License. Before downloading the redemption form, you must agree to the additional requirements for providing the upgrade option by accepting the amendment to the system builder license. You will be asked to read and accept this amendment when you click to download the appropriate redemption form.

    

2. Upgrade Redemption Form Number. For each form that you distribute, you must write the following number in the box labeled "Redemption Form Number" in the upper right corner of the form. 22102620068798769613

   Please note: If you do not enter this number on the upgrade redemption form, your customer will not be able to order the upgrade software.

    

3. Product Key. In the blank area on the bottom of each form that you distribute, you must write in the product key (25-digits) that appears on the COA (Certificate of Authenticity) that will be attached to the computer that is eligible for an upgrade to Microsoft Windows Vista and that will accompany the redemption form.
