Job Description: Duties include quality assurance and designing and developing applications using SQL Server, Action Script, PHP, Crystal Reports, C#, HTML/XHTML, Web Services and ActiveX Data Objects. Applicant must be adept at debugging complex application problems and must have familiarity with project management framework and standard documentation methods. This position requires research, design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers and network distribution software for various applications and hardware.
Candidate will be:
- Involved in the design and development of many types of software to include software for operating systems, network distribution, and compiler
- Work with a team that designs new hardware, software, and systems. Develop and maintains web based applications built on ASP.NET using C# with a SQL Server back-end
- Perform advanced troubleshooting at the application level. Using his/her prior developer expertise, he/she will identify the area of fault (code, environment, or configuration)
- Will apply extensive knowledge of software architecture to do software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing computer software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.
- Build enhancements within existing software applications and envision future improvements to the architecture.
- Researches and evaluates alterative solutions and recommends the most effective approach.
- Act as a resource for other programmers.
- Excellent, proactive verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Candidates must demonstrate potential for exceptional understanding of computing, engineering, systems analysis, system development and computer management practices.
